BJP candidate list likely by Tuesday
Barring the 84 assembly seats where it has sitting MLAs, the BJP’s state election committee (SEC) on Sunday shortlisted names of three to five probables for each of the remaining 159 assembly constituencies in the state. Although the BJP is fighting elections in alliance with LJP, HAM and RLSP, the move to zero in on candidates for all seats is aimed at ensuring that it is ready with candidates for the seats it finally gets to contest.
