Experts have responded to the boycott of the by-elections by the political parties. They talk about the reasons behind the boycott.
"In this particular by-elections, most of opposition do not have chances to win, that"s why they are tring not to waste resources. Therefore, it is difficult to say whether it was a test of democracy for the current goverment. The government will try to talk some of the opposition parties to formally take part in these elections , "- said the co-chair of the Institute of European Values, Khatuna Lagazidze.
"The country is threatened by receiving a non-democtratic regime ," - claim some of the experts.
They say that, as a result of the boycott, Martvili and Sagarejo population who come to elections in October will not have no choice as there will be only one party represented.
