Kelechi Iheanacho warns Arsenal to be ready for a 'fight' against Manchester City
Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has warned Arsenal to expect a "fight" in Sunday's Premier League clash.
Pep Guardiola's men are unbeaten in seven top-flight fixtures ahead of this weekend's trip to north London, including a hard fought draw against Liverpool last time out.
City currently occupy third place in the table and will solidify their position among the Champions League spots with victory over the underfire Gunners.
Arsene Wenger's side have slipped to sixth after just one win in five and are in real danger of failing to secure a place in Europe's elite competition.
But Iheanacho is adamant City will be aiming to deepen Arsenal's problems by securing all three points at the expense of their rivals.
“We are going to go to the Emirates and fight,” he told City's official website. “We need a win there. It’s a good team, so we need to fight hard to get three points.
“We are in a good situation. We played well against Liverpool and showed good character.
“We defend well, we attack well, but unfortunately we couldn’t win. We are in a good position in the Premier League, we keep fighting and focus."
But the Nigeria international, who has made 16 Premier League appearances this term, says he remains happy with life at the Etihad Stadium and is determined to continue improving under Guardiola's guidance.

"Everyone should be happy being in this team - it’s a great team.
"The supporters give us everything so We need to keep fighting for the team and the fans.
“I am improving every day. I keep learning and improving and that will help me in the future. I love it here,” the 20-year-old added.
