Ambode unveils Neighborhood safety corps for Lagos state only (photos)
Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode on Monday, March 27, 2017 launched the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC).

The safety corps received vehicles to help with mobility in carrying out their operations
Ambode also gave out supplies for communication
Members of the safety corps are between 18 - 40 years of age
Lagos is a noisy place just like other parts of Nigeria and Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is taking steps to curb noise pollution in the state.
Lagos state government has banned live band music in bars and restaurants within the state It is not only bars and restaurants that will be affected as religious houses were not left out.
The general manager of Lagos State Environment Protection Agency (LASEPA) Adebola Shabi, said the state government took its decision because of the increasing rate of petitions by residents, who were lamenting the frequent disturbance from the beer parlours, clubs and religious houses.
