Jibrin attacks Dogara, no amount of media blackmail can stop me
Embattled member of the House of Representatives, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has said that there is no better time than now for the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to revisit the multi billion naira money-laundry allegations in the House of Representatives.
The Kano lawmaker on Saturday, August 13, in a series of tweets, said the money laundry issues had become a pattern over the years in the House and it is time for the anti-corruption agencies to move in decisively.
Jibrin also accused Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the House of Representatives and the 3 other lawmakers of embarking on a very expensive media campaign to damage his reputation.
The ousted lawmaker a few days ago hinted at the pressure he was going through and tweeted that he need prayers because of the challenges he is facing in the battle.

In another development, fresh trouble is here for former chairman, House committee on appropriation, as EFCC is set to arrest and charge him to court for N17 billion money laundering.
Jibrin who had claimed that he was invited by the EFCC to shed light on his petitions on budget padding against Dogara and three others, was actually being grilled by the anti-graft agency over his past financial transactions and several petitions against him.
