Novartis' net profit buoyed due to sale of OTC division
Novartis India reported a total income of Rs 448 crore from operations for the half-year ended September 2015. Its net profit increased to Rs 103.82 crore for the September quarter on back of slump sale of its OTC division to GlaxoSmithKline Plc. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 14 crore a year ago.
