John McLaughlin, the host of PBS' political roundtable The McLaughlin Group, passed away at the age of 89 on Tuesday. The influential political discussion typically brought in panelists from both sides of the political aisle, with the Republican McLaughlin moderating in the middle. Anna Paquin has been cast in Alias Grace, an upcoming miniseries co-produced by Netflix and the Canadian Broadcasting Company and based on a historical novel by Margaret Atwood, the streaming service announced Tuesday.
