Report: Warriors to offer Andre Iguodala 3-year deal
The Warriors are set to meet Saturday with free-agent forward Andre Iguodala in Los Angles, according to a Bay Area News Group report. A budding entrepreneur, Iguodala has spent the first day of free agency putting pressure on Golden State to up its original offer. According to The Undefeated, the Rockets extended Iguodala an offer. Reports have surfaced that, if they can’t bring back Iguodala, the Warriors would target Rudy Gay. Iguodala’s plus-minus average of 6.9 topped all NBA reserves who played at least 50 games last season. With 262 assists, 76 steals and 58 turnovers, he finished the regular season No. 1 in the NBA in assists per turnover (4.5-1) and No. 7 among players who played at least 70 games in steals per turnover (1.31-1).
