French President Emmanuel Macron called Tokayev
Tengrinews.kz — At the initiative of the French side, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, citing Akorda.
During the conversation, the French leader congratulated the Head of State on the successful holding of the nationwide referendum on the new Constitution, noting its historic significance and calling the event a major step toward the country’s further modernization.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked the President of France for his words of support and for his high assessment of the referendum.
The two leaders expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral cooperation in the economy, especially in industry and energy, and spoke in favor of continuing joint efforts in this area.
The heads of state also noted the importance of personal contacts and agreed on upcoming meetings to continue exchanging views on current issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda.
