Apple asks dismissal of order to help FBI decrypt iPhone
Apple asked a federal court Thursday to dismiss a court order for it to help the FBI unlock an iPhone in a case that has reignited public debate on encryption.
A motion filed in a California court in the case involving one of the San Bernardino attackers said the request overstepped the government's legal authority and violated Apple's constitutional rights to freedom of speech.
