Baguio City – The proposed Automated Guideway Transit (AGT) system or monorail project in Baguio City and La Trinidad, Benguet is nearing realization after the Regional Development Council-Cordillera (RDC-CAR) approved a resolution creating the ad hoc committee for the conduct of a full-blown feasibility study for the P7- billion environment-friendly transport system. The RDC said the project has undergone a re-feasibility study conducted by Traffic and Transport Planners, Inc., a process required by investors eyeing engagement in such a big-scale infrastructure such as the AGT, with the funding from the DOST-CAR.
