Tokayev receives UAE delegation
The President highlighted the special nature of relations between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates, which are based on strong ties of friendship, mutual trust and strategic partnership.
It was noted that the UAE is among the ten largest foreign investors in Kazakhstan. In 2025, the inflow of direct investment from the UAE reached $1.64 billion, increasing 3.5-fold.
Taking the opportunity, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev conveyed warm greetings to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting, particular attention was paid to the development of transport and logistics cooperation. The participants discussed joint projects with AD Ports Group, the development of port infrastructure and the fleet on the Caspian Sea, as well as the further strengthening of the Middle Corridor.
The prospects of the Trans-Afghan Corridor and the formation of a long-term partnership in maritime, rail, road and air transportation were also discussed separately.
Another topic of the talks was cooperation in artificial intelligence and digitalization.
The Head of State highly praised cooperation with Presight AI on projects to develop supercomputing infrastructure, Smart City solutions and a national transport traffic video monitoring system.
The parties also considered opportunities for G42 to participate in the creation of the large-scale Data Center Valley ecosystem in Ekibastuz.
In recognition of Suhail Al Mazrouei’s and Mansoor Al Mansoori’s contribution to the development of Kazakh-UAE relations, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev awarded them the Order of Dostyk, Second Class.
Earlier, Tokayev received William Ford, Chairman and CEO of General Atlantic.
