Cold snap is approaching: weather will change sharply in Kazakhstan
Tengrinews.kz — Kazhydromet forecasters have issued the weather forecast for September 10, 11 and 12.
According to the forecast, rain is expected across most of Kazakhstan from September 10 to 12, with thunderstorms and stronger winds in some areas. Meanwhile, warm weather will persist in the south.
Where temperatures will drop
Weather across most of Kazakhstan will be influenced by a northwestern cyclone and associated atmospheric fronts. Unsettled conditions are expected, with rain, thunderstorms in some areas and stronger winds. Temperatures will also begin to gradually fall.
In the north and northwest of the country, temperatures will drop to +13…+23°C, while central regions will see +15…+25°C.
Warm weather to persist in the south
Summer-like warmth will remain in southern Kazakhstan over the coming days. Rain is expected in the southeast on September 12.
In the west, precipitation will gradually ease after the cyclone passes, and weather conditions will begin to stabilize. Temperatures there, by contrast, will rise to +20…+28°C.
