Who will be able to board these flights
The embassy clarified that these flights are intended for Kazakh citizens who are not UAE residents and who became stranded in the region as tourists or transit passengers.
Kazakhstanis were also warned that the number of seats is limited, so passenger lists will be formed on a priority basis. Priority will be given to citizens whose departure was scheduled for 28 February – 1 March but who were unable to leave due to the airspace closure.
The following categories will be treated as priority:
pensioners travelling without accompanying persons;persons with disabilities (with one accompanying person);pregnant women travelling without accompanying persons;children under five years old — accompanied by one parent.
“It is a mandatory requirement for inclusion in the list to have an unused air ticket dated 28 February – 1 March of the current year,” the embassy emphasized.
What documents need to be sent
To have an application considered, the following must be submitted:
a copy of the passport;a copy of the airline ticket;for children under 5 — a birth certificate;for persons with disabilities — a supporting document.
Documents are accepted via WhatsApp at +971 56 638 7442, and applicants are additionally asked to duplicate them to +971 50 570 1978.
“We ask for your understanding regarding the measures introduced and to remain calm. We emphasize that the return of all citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be ensured in stages,” the statement reads.
The diplomatic mission also thanked compatriots for their patience and cooperation.
