Assess fairly and without bias: Tokayev on Nazarbayev

Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave an extensive interview to the newspaper Turkistan.
In the interview, the President, in particular, commented on the meeting between First President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Russian leader Vladimir Putin ahead of the New Year in the Kremlin.

“As for the personality of Nursultan Nazarbayev, I have repeatedly spoken of him as the founder of modern Kazakh statehood. His contribution to the creation of state institutions, market mechanisms in the economy, and the construction of the new capital is obvious. You know that we want to turn Kazakhstan into a territory of Justice, Law and Order. Therefore, the work of every citizen should be evaluated fairly, without personal bias. This also applies to Nursultan Nazarbayev, the First President of our country,” Tokayev said.
