Martí Always Close to Us

According to reports on the working commissions of the National Council of the Martian Youth Movement (MJM), carried out this Tuesday and ends today in the capital, it is necessary to visualize the actions and activities further that are carried out in the people’s councils, municipalities and provinces to promote the study and the research of Martí’s life and of the history of Cuba.

The four commissions,created to discuss the main labor landmarks of the Movement, addressed the political and ideological formation through seminars and intellectual events for children, teenagers and young people, as well as the relationship between the MJM with national and internationalinstitutions and organizations, among other topics.

According to the vice president of the MJMDanay Armand Solano,  today we can highlight a greater social projection of the organization, with the implementation of the projects Cuba en mi mochila and Buscando una sonrisa. Thre latest mentioned, brought the Apostle’s worktothe prisons, hospitals and orphanages, a fact that impact in the political conscience, the sense of belonging and the social inclusion of the people, through such an multifaceted and instructive ideology as it was Martí.

It is crucial to prioritize the work with the communication groups of the universities and to develop comprehensive strategies that allow a deeper insertion of the Movement in schools, provincial president of the MJM in Villa Clara Yaraní Suárez Gavillasaidin her committee.

In terms of communication, one of the most significant results is seen in the new design of the monthly publication Martillando, in which the main activities of the MJM are announced.
