Look at that list of players and think - would any get into a top Champ team's starting 17? Maybe Stanno. Maybe Klarer. Otherwise not so much.
Radical surgery is needed and we need to move on as many of them as possible and start building with a reliable keeper, a commanding central defence a combative and creative midfield and an attack with teeth not gums. Oh and a manager who can deliver with such players.
It'll cost a lot? Sure. But what's the point of Knighthead investing untold millions in a future mega-development only to find that the key sporting entity at the centre of it all is a perennially struggling lower Champ level team?
