Galvan double leads River to Belgrano win
BUENOS AIRES, April 5 (Xinhua) -- Midfielder Tomas Galvan scored twice as River Plate extended its impressive form with a 3-0 home win over Belgrano in Argentina's Apertura tournament on Sunday.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 36th minute when Belgrano goalkeeper Thiago Cardozo parried away Sebastian Driussi's effort on the counterattack only for Galvan to slot in the rebound.
