25 killed in Tehran in Israeli attack; Trump’s cryptic post adds to tension
An Israeli strike on Tehran has killed at least 25 people after a residential building near Eslamshahr was hit, Iranian media reported. Strikes were also reported in Qom and at the Sharif University of Technology.
Israel later said it had targeted “regime targets” in the capital.
U.S. President Donald Trump has set a deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and posted a cryptic “Tuesday, 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time” message, as tensions escalate.
