Not been overly impressed with him this season but he has had some good games and one of them was yesterday.
Personally I struggle to judge a young keeper’s potential as opposed to say an Osman type player who is obviously raw but has a high ceiling if he can start to make better decisions and improve that end product, keepers I dont really know what I’m looking for apart from the obvious but even rubbish keepers have good saves in them.
I ask because there’s clearly a lot of people in the game with more knowledge than most fans who think he’s got a lot of potential, he’s played a lot of games at this level now and played regularly for the u21s. His team mate at Brighton, Rushworth, who is a couple of years older seems to have been treated slightly differently in his formative years as a keeper and Beadle is ahead of where he was by some distance and Rushworth has been fantastic this season. If Beadle is to go on loan again, as I imagine he will do, do we want to see him doing well having learned from his errors whilst with us? Or is he not going to improve quickly enough?
