Mila Kunis & Ashton Kutcher's Marriage Takes An Unlikely Turn After Danny Masterson Scandal
The last few years have been challenging for Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher. They’ve navigated backlash after supporting their That ‘70s Show co-star Danny Masterson, who was convicted of rape and sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2023. But, now, insiders revealed that Kunis and Kutcher’s marriage has weathered the storm — and taken an unlikely turn.
Some couples may have crumbled after the attention and proximity to the convicted rapist, but not Kunis and Kutcher. The duo, who have been married since July 2015, are reportedly feeling “pretty solid” right now, an insider just told Us Weekly. “They’ve been through so much,” a source told the outlet. “Their marriage is going to last.”
The insider said that they have “leaned on each other” after the scandal fallout, and they are focused on their daughters Wyatt, 11, and Dimitri, 9. “They are on the same page about all the important things, especially when it comes to their kids. Mila was so happy when they found their way back to each other,” the source went on.
The couple have kept a low profile since their letters in support of Masterson’s “exceptional character” went public. In Sept. 2023, Kutcher and Kunis made a public apology video, telling fans, “We are aware of the pain that has been caused by the character letters that we wrote on behalf of Danny Masterson. They were intended for the judge to read and not to undermine the testimony of the victims or re-traumatize them in any way.”

This year, the couple are reportedly trying to make a big Hollywood comeback as well. A source told Daily Mail in 2025 that Kutcher is “desperate to redeem himself” after all the public scrutiny.
“He knows he’s fallen out of favor over the years, both in Hollywood and with the public, for some inappropriate and misguided choices,” the source said. “He and Mila noticed they were getting less and less invites to Hollywood events.”
Kunis recently starred in Knives Out: Wake Up Dead Man and is working on The 47 Night Stand and Nightwatching, which are currently in pre-production according to IMDB. Kutcher starred in the 2026 series, The Beauty, and will act in James Franco’s The Long Home, per IMDB.
