BMW Accidentally Leaked Its Entire 2027 Lineup, Including A New M2 xDrive
BMW has around 40 new cars coming in the next year, and the brand's US website just gave everyone a peek at what's coming next. Motor1 first spotted the updates to BMW's US online shop (which was down as of publishing), detailing upcoming models for the 2027 model year. That includes new items like an all-wheel drive M2 xDrive and the arrival of BMW's latest crop of EVs.

Right now, the smallest, cheapest M car is also the only one without all-wheel drive. The brand's site shows one will be available for the 2027 model year, though. How it'll be equipped is another matter. Specifics were light, and it's still not clear whether BMW has bothered to include the option for a six-speed manual (already offered) or whether it will stick with an automatic for the coupe. Precedent indicates it'll be the latter, as the M3 and M4 don't offer their manual with xDrive, the brand's all-wheel drive system.
BMW's 3 Series lineup should expand, too, with the arrival of an M350 xDrive. It indicates a facelift for the model, with the version likely replacing the old M340i xDrive. That could be had with rear-wheel drive, but BMW's site didn't specify whether that would continue. Speaking of the 3 Series, its electrified equivalent, the i3, will arrive this year, joining the iX3 crossover. An iX4 midsize model will also follow, with two trims offering varying range and power outputs, but equipped with xDrive regardless.
New BMW SUVs coming in 2027

BMW will debut other new SUVs this year too, if the website is to be believed. The 2027 X5 will be an updated model replacing the one pictured above, and will retain a rear-drive base model. An electric iX5 will join it with all-wheel drive only. Meanwhile, the new 7 Series will continue on, but the Z4 and 8 Series are now absent. It's likely we've seen the last of those.
Normally, model debuts and cancellations come down the pipe through media, but it appears BMW has jumped the gun this time. As of publishing, the shop.bmwusa website is still down, likely as BMW is updating the webpage to fix the error.
