Cooper Whittier Is Pro For Rome Snowboards
Rome Snowboards already has some of the top young rail riders in the game. Now, they’ll add one more.
Cooper Whittier has been added to Rome’s global pro team.
The Maine-born Whittier will join a board brand with deep East Coast roots.
“To grow up around Rome’s legacy and appreciate it as a fan makes this move even more special,” he said in a press release. “It’s going to be an exciting new chapter for the brand, and I feel lucky to be a part of it.”

Whittier, of course, is a founding member of the Dustbox crew. He filmed for the 686 film Atlas 2 with Tommy Gesme and Robby Meehan last winter, and brings a “crew-first” mentality to Rome.
Coop will run Rome boards and bindings immediately. He joins a team that already boasts Rene Rinnekangas, Lolo Derminio, Derek Lemke, Frank Jobin, and Noah Coville.
"Cooper is a once-in-a-generation talent who approaches snowboarding with a vision that is purely his own," Rome Snowboards’ Global Brand Director Ben Morse said in a press release. "His attention to detail, commitment to the process, and obsession with product truly align with the core of the Rome brand."
In the fall of 2024, Whittier made a splash when he joined the startup board and boots brand Information Garage. Founder Caleb Flowers made him a pro model that sold for $360, more than $100 cheaper than comparable boards from the competition. He then gave Whittier 100% of the proceeds. Information Garage did the same thing with t-shirt sales.
