Welcome Callum Rattray!
Raith Rovers Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Callum Rattray as our new Digital Marketing Executive.
Although born in London, Callum has always had a strong connection to Raith Rovers through his dad, a Kirkcaldy native.
Family visits during the holidays gave him the first taste of experiencing a Stark’s Park matchday.
When his family moved back to Kirkcaldy at the age of 13, Callum got his first season ticket and hasn’t looked back since.
Callum studied Digital Media at the University of Stirling. During this time, he began volunteering with us, writing the Weekly Digest for four years.
He later earned a Masters in Multimedia Journalism from Glasgow Caledonian University, while also volunteering with Caledonian Braves, where he progressed into a full time role.
Following two years with the Braves, Callum joined our media team last season in a voluntary capacity, while also doing freelance work with Berwick Rangers.
Supporters may already recognise Callum from behind the pitchside camera on matchdays, or from his work on the Joga Bonito Podcast.
Working with Director Ruaridh Kilgour, Callum will be responsible for overseeing our day-to-day digital strategy, ensuring that Raith Rovers maintains clear and consistent communication with our supporters.
Ruaridh commented: “We’re delighted to have Callum as part of the team. Just as we did with Grace back in 2023, it’s always extra special to offer a full-time role to someone who is not only a supporter but has also volunteered for the club.
It’s an exciting period for the club, with a lot of change happening behind the scenes. This presents an opportunity to reset and refresh, which Callum is excited to embrace.
I would also like to thank Grace Fowlie for all the hard work, dedication and time she has given to Raith Rovers. She has been a credit to the football club and leaves with our very best wishes as she embarks on a career change.”
