Beloved ‘American Pie’ Actor Lists Malibu Surf Compound for $18 Million
The coastal California enclave of Malibu is known for its celebrity residents, including Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr., and others.
Another one to add to the list, although perhaps more notable from his acting roles of the late nineties to early aughts, is Seann William Scott. His most memorable role was Steve Stifler in the American Pie franchise. And he’s selling his house on Zuma Beach.
The asking price? A cool $18 mill.

Scott bought the home back in 2004, after he starred in American Wedding. A savvy investment if one were to crunch the numbers, with the size of the latest listing price for the estate. The listing is held by Chris Cortazzo of Compass; check it out here.
Per the Robb Report:
“Completed in 1980, the residence offers five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and a powder room in roughly 4,100 square feet across two levels. Warm and organic interiors boast stone floors, custom millwork, and soaring wood-beam ceilings throughout, while vast walls of glass provide plenty of natural light and seamless indoor-outdoor environs.”
So, did Scott ever surf the famed shorebreak barrels of Zuma? Unclear.

But it’s prime real estate for anyone looking to live a stone’s throw away from the thumping, punchy peaks of Zuma…should they have the dough.
The listing continues:
“Outdoor spaces are equally considered, with landscaped lawns, mature palms, a tennis court, and peaceful water features that enhance the sense of retreat. Covered patios and open-air lounges invite year-round enjoyment, while elevated vantage points capture glimpses of the coastline beyond the grounds.
“Balancing modern design with organic warmth, this exceptional property offers privacy, architectural integrity, and a refined coastal lifestyle in a truly special setting.”
Any takers? (Stifler’s mom not included.)
