Man charged in November Little Village stabbing
A man suspected of stabbing a man in Little Village in November has been charged with attempted murder, according to Chicago police.
Octavio Garcia, 48, faces charges of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, police said.
Garcia is accused of stabbing and “seriously injuring” a man in the 2800 block of South Kedvale Avenue on Nov. 27, 2025, police said.
Garcia is due in court Wednesday.
