Catherine O'Hara Remembered by 'Beetlejuice' Co-Star Michael Keaton & Director Tim Burton After Her Death
More stars are honoring Catherine O’Hara after her shocking passing.
The Emmy winner, known for roles in classics like Home Alone and Best In Show, as well as Schitt’s Creek, died at the age of 71 on Friday (January 30) following a “brief illness.”
Following news of her death, Catherine‘s Beetlejuice co-star Michael Keaton and director Tim Burton both took to social media to pay tribute.
Keep reading to find out more…“We go back before the first Beetlejuice,” Michael wrote on Instagram along with a photo of himself and Catherine. “She’s been my pretend wife, my pretend nemesis and my real life, true friend. This one hurts. Man am I gonna miss her. Thinking about Beau as well.”
On his own Instagram, Tim shared a photo of himself, Catherine, and Michael on set of the 2024 sequel, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, posing alongside fellow cast members Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega.
“Catherine, I love you,” he wrote. “This picture shows how much light you gave to all of us. You were a special part of my life and after life.”
Catherine‘s death has been confirmed by her team and more details about what happened are already emerging.
