Traffic accident leaves 30-year-old critically injured
A 30-year-old man was seriously injured in a traffic accident shortly after midnight on Wednesday on the Limassol – Paphos highway, as he was driving towards Limassol.
The collision occurred near the Erimi exit when his vehicle veered off the road and struck a metal railing, where it came to a stop.
Firefighters extricated the driver from the vehicle before he was transported to a private hospital in Limassol for treatment.
He sustained injuries to his legs, and his condition is described as very serious.
Police are continuing their investigations.
