New England Patriots vs. Denver Broncos Weather Forecast: Snow is Coming

Those going to today's AFC Championship game between the Broncos and Patriots will be in for a cold game. The weather in Denver is projected to get up to only 26 degrees and have a low of 7 degrees, according to research from The Weather Channel.

The game starts at 3 p.m. Eastern, so it will be closer to 26 degrees at that point, offering some relief. But, it will have a "real feel" of 16 degrees, so it will feel colder, and only a 2% chance of precipitation. By 4 p.m. local time, the chance of precipitation goes up, so any chance of snow is likely to come after the game.

After the game, Denver is looking at an 80% chance of snow, but only one inch is expected, so it's nothing too crazy. Plus, even with those cold temperatures, it's nothing like people in the Midwest are experiencing, with temperatures at -15 degrees.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks Weather Forecast: A Nicer Forecast

Seattle is known for rain, but the forecast for the city is sunny for game day. Seattle's forecast is projected to bring 45 degree temperatures when the game starts and just a 1% chance of rain. Those temperatures will drop during the game, but it will still be a much more comfortable temperature than the Denver game.

It's also worth noting that cold weather makes reaction times slower for players on the field, so expect a change in the passing game for both games. But, that's what makes January football so fun. You never know what to expect.

The National Recreation Systems adds, "Focus on warmth with fleece or soft-shell jackets that create air pockets for insulation. Adjust this layer based on your activity level. Since you're likely staying stationary in the bleachers, this layer will likely be one that stays on the whole game."
