Alexander Skarsgard is clarifying comments he made last year about his sexuality, which some fans misconstrued.
The 49-year-old actor, who stars in the new BDSM movie Pillion, opened up about his “past” experiences with men during an interview at the film’s Zurich Film Festival premiere.
Alexander was asked to elaborate on the comments in a more recent interview, following the speculation that he’s bisexual.

“That it resonated with my past? It was definitely not an intended statement,” he told Variety. “I don’t know what I was talking about. Maybe it has to do with — there’s a lot of focus sometimes on me as an actor. Maybe it was trying to shift the focus more to the story and these characters. And the importance of telling the story like this.”
