Michael B. Jordan Says His Mom 'Stole the Show' After Viral Golden Globes Moment
Michael B. Jordan is responding to a viral moment from the 2026 Golden Globes that featured his mom, Donna Jordan.
The Sinners star was the subject of one of host Nikki Glaser‘s NSFW jokes during the Sunday (January 11) ceremony.

Nikki‘s joke went: “In Sinners, Michael played two brothers, and I can’t believe it. We got two Michael B. Jordans! When I saw that, I was like, Nikki B. Jerking, because that was awesome.”
When the camera cut to Michael‘s reaction in the crowd, viewers were quick to notice his mom behind him pausing to take a drink and give a little eye roll.
Visiting Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday (January 12), Michael joked that his “mom stole the show.”
“I’m pretty sure all her girlfriends are like texting her and sending her every meme and every clip possible,” he added.
Jimmy asked the Creed star if his mom gets “uncomfortable when women openly lust after you?”
“I think by now she’s used to it,” he admitted. “So she just gives a little eyeroll and just kinda keeps it pushing. She doesn’t really respond too much,” Michael replied.
He added that his mom “can hang” and had a great time at the award show.
“We went out afterwards, we went to an afterparty, we had a little fun, she was dancing and stuff. Mama had a good time. I don’t really think it’s a downside to bringing mom to an event, only upside,” the star concluded.
