Kiefer Sutherland Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting a Rideshare Driver
Kiefer Sutherland has been arrested.
The 59-year-old actor, best known for starring in shows like 24 and Designated Survivor, was arrested just after midnight on early Monday morning (January 12) in Hollywood.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the news to ABC.

Kiefer allegedly was involved in an altercation with a rideshare driver near the Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue intersection.
ABC reports that “Sutherland allegedly assaulted the driver after entering the vehicle.” No one required medical treatment from injuries. He was booked on “suspicion of felony criminal threats” and released from custody after posting $50,000 bond.
Kiefer is due in court on February 2.
