This Sale Has the Lowest Prices on Amazon Devices I've Seen All Year

Some of the biggest sales of the year are nearly here, like Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days in October alongside similar events from Walmart, Best Buy, and Target. Based on my years as a writer focusing on sales from the biggest retailers, though, Woot's current sale on Amazon devices likely offers better prices than what you'll find from Amazon proper later in October.

Until Sept. 28 at 12:59 a.m. ET, Woot is selling new and refurbished Amazon devices for cheaper than Amazon has ever sold them (including Prime Day) according to price-checking tools. Since Woot is Amazon's subsidiary, it gets Amazon products in bulk that Amazon wants to get rid of and can slash the prices a little more aggressively. Keep in mind that refurbished products might come with signs of wear, but they were all serviced and given the thumbs-up to work properly. Woot only ships to the 48 contiguous states in the U.S. If you have Amazon Prime, you get free shipping; otherwise, it’ll be $6 to ship. 

Woot is also throwing in an additional 15% off automatically at checkout ($20 maximum), which brings all of these devices well below the price they have historically sold for on Amazon. You don't need to be a Prime member or use any promo code to get it.

As I said, these kinds of sales from Woot will beat any discount on Amazon products you'll see in October (or any time of the year for that matter). If you see something you're interested in, take full advantage of it, and don't stress about the upcoming sales. These kinds of deals sell out quickly, as you can see from the sold-out section at the bottom. The Fire TVs and Ring cameras (and that soundbar) in particular are bargains, as long as you're okay with a missing controller (which you can buy cheap on Amazon) and refurbished products in general.
