Private student loan interest rates drop for 10-year loans, rise for 5-year terms

During the week of June 24, 2024, average private student loan rates decreased for borrowers with credit scores of 720 or higher who used the Credible marketplace to take out 10-year fixed-rate loans, while rates increased for borrowers taking out 5-year variable-rate loans.
