My neighbour lets their kids play outside before 8am every day – I can’t stand the noise but people say I’m unreasonable
A HOMEOWNER has hit out at her noisy neighbours who let their kids play outside before 8am every day – but not everyone agrees.
The disgruntled resident, from Gloucester, aired her frustrations on a Facebook post after being repeatedly woken by the youngsters.
The homeowner hit out at her neighbours for allowing their noisy twins to play out early[/caption]They explained the twin toddlers living next door burst into their garden “every single morning” between 6.45am and 8am.
The boisterous pair then unintentionally rouse their neighbour from their slumber with their early morning antics.
The anonymous local said although they understand it is the summer holidays, they believe it is unacceptable to stir sleeping residents.
They were even more riled by their disturbed rest due to working a sporadic shift pattern.

Despite admitting they were a parent themselves, the social media user threatened to inform the council of their noise complaint.
The frustrated homeowner explained they had already tried confronting their neighbours, but they didn’t answer the door.
The Facebook post read: “Anyone else have neighbours that let their twin toddlers out from between 6.45am-8am every single morning?
“I completely appreciate its the summer holidays (been there, done that) but there are neighbours who work shift patterns.

“Yes, I’ve tried knocking on their door but had no answer.
“I wouldn’t be so bad if it was every now & then or even after 9am but before 8am every morning is getting silly now.
“I will be knocking on their door again at some point today & if still no luck, I’ll be calling the council.”
Their complaint, posted on a local residents group, sparked a fiery online debate among social media users.
Some supported their anger towards the noisy children, while others accused the homeowner of having an entitled attitude.
One commented: “It’s the coolest time of the day and don’t you think they have enough on their plate with twins!
“Have some compassion and patience, buy some ear plugs, sleep in a different bedroom or just move house maybe? Wow!”
Another suggested: “I would be not happy too to have that kind of neighbours who doesn’t care about anyone around. I think you should talk to them and hopefully everything will be ok.”
‘DO ONE’
A third said: I don’t blame them to be honest, get some energy out before the day heats up.
“Don’t see what the council will do since it’s after 7am.”
One offended parent wrote: “As a parent of twin toddlers and on behalf of all twin parents, I kindly ask you to do one. If only you knew what we have to do and go through daily.”
And a fifth added: “Unfortunately not many people these days have much respect for others!”
However, the poster did gain the sympathy of one pragmatic user who weighed up both sides of the argument.
They said: “I can understand this from both sides and the person who put the post up may not be able to work days due to other commitments.
“I myself work an occasional night and I would be annoyed if someone woke me too.”
We previously told how one neighbour sent a savage note to a mum demanding she stopped her “noisy” kids from playing outside.

They claimed the youngsters were waking up locals before 9am by “screaming at the top of their voices”.
Another mum defiantly defended her choice to let her kids outside to play at 8.30am, insisting it was essential for her young son to “burn off excess energy”.
