BIP: Wells Adams Talks Possibly Eloping With Fiancé Sarah Hyland
Wells Adams from Bachelor in Paradise debates whether or not he and fiancé Sarah Hyland should elope in Las Vegas if they don't tie the knot soon.
Wells Adams from Bachelor in Paradise considers eloping in Las Vegas with fiancé Sarah Hyland following multiple wedding delays. The couple met back in 2017 when Wells slid into Sarah's DMs after she made a comment about the ABC spin-off. In October 2017, the pair went public after they showed up to a Halloween party as characters from Stranger Things. After close to two years of dating, the Bachelor in Paradise star proposed to Sarah while on a romantic getaway in 2019.
The engaged couple planned on tieing the knot in 2020, but their wedding was postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Wells and Sarah rescheduled their wedding for summer 2021 but decided it was best to wait a bit longer as they did not feel safe having a big event at that time. Though the pandemic is still present, hopefully, 2022 will finally be Wells and Sarah's year.
Wells is certainly hoping that's the case. During a recent interview with ET Canada, he was asked about their upcoming wedding. Wells said, "Listen, we've postponed it two years in a row. If something else crazy happens this year, then we're just going to go to Vegas with powder blue suits and knock it out." It sounds like Wells doesn't want to wait another year to get married, so he is hoping he and Sarah will finally be able to walk down the aisle in 2022.
Over the summer, Wells expressed a similar sentiment to PEOPLE regarding his impending nuptials and reiterated that he hopes to get married sometime in 2022. At the time, he also teased that the pair might just go to a courthouse or Vegas if the wedding does not happen by the end of the year. In the same interview, Wells said he and Sarah plan on doing the whole process of getting ready for it over again. They will go back on vacation to where they got engaged and re-plan the engagement party, as well as their bachelor and bachelorette parties.
Despite waiting so long to get married, it's clear Wells and Sarah are still madly in love. They recently celebrated their four-year anniversary together in October 2021. The following month, Wells honored Sarah's birthday, calling her his "beautiful bride-to-be." His fiancé celebrated turning 31-years-old alongside several photos Wells took of her over their four years together. At this point, the Bachelor in Paradise bartender doesn't care where he and Sarah get married; he just wants to finally be husband and wife. Wells and Sarah are done postponing their wedding, so hopefully, the couple will be able to tie the knot by the end of the year.
