Siena men's rugby wins national championship
Coached by Jaco Visser, Siena (10-0) won a national title in the first year of its transition from club to varsity status.
"I'm pretty speechless, to be fair," sophomore co-captain Isaac Frost said. "I've just got to credit the boys, the coaching team and everyone around us. It's not a one-person show. Everyone's come together ... It's the first year of the (varsity) program and we never expected to be here. It was our stretch goal to even get to national championship and to win, it's quite surreal, to be honest with you."
