Winter House: Lindsay Hubbard Surprised To Find Romance While Filming Show
Lindsay Hubbard claims she was shocked to find romance while filming Winter House, saying she never expected to meet someone special in the house.
Lindsay Hubbard opened up about her experience finding romance while filming Bravo's Winter House, claiming she never expected to find someone special in the house. Audiences first met Lindsay when she began appearing on Summer House in season 1. She joined the show with her boyfriend at the time, Everett Weston, and let audiences in on all the cracks in their relationship. It was revealed at the start of season 2 that the two broke up, and after a few attempts to reconcile, the pair decided to call it quits for good. In season 4, Lindsay and co-star Carl Radke hooked up after a few seasons of fans begging for the two of them to couple up. She also has a romantic history with Austen Kroll, who appears on Winter House with her.
Due to the popularity of Summer House, Bravo came up with the idea for Winter House. The show puts cast members from Southern Charm and Summer House together in one house for a 17-day vacation in Vermont. Fans were wondering how the show would bring the drama considering most of the cast members were in relationships at the time, and that there was an imbalance of male and female cast members. Kyle Cook, Amanda Batula, Paige DeSorbo, Lindsay and Ciara Miller, as well as Austen and Craig Connover, signed on to appear. In order to spice up the show, Bravo decided to add four new cast members--Andrea Denver, Jason Cameron, Julia McGuire and Gabby Kniery.
Lindsay is now sharing how surprised she was to find romance while filming the show. In an interview with ET, Linsday shared she never thought she would have this experience when she signed on for the show. According to her, she thought she was signing up to hang out with her friends and have a good time with them. She said, "The most shocking for me is actually finding a guy, and it being this beautiful, amazing, nice guy at that." Her first impression of Jason Cameron was that he was really good looking, but his caring personality quickly outshone his looks and won her over. They bonded over him feeding her a burger, and started a romantic relationship, which carried over into their everyday lives in New York City.
Lindsay was also in the house with Austen, with whom she has a history. The two never officially dated but have admitted to taking their friendship to another level a few times. While filming for Winter House, Lindsay drunkenly told Austen she was in love with him. In regards to that, Lindsay claimed the lines of their friendship get blurred often, but they are both able to wake up the next morning and move on from whatever either one of them said. The status of her relationship with her other Summer House co-star and ex-boyfriend Carl has also become a topic of interest among fans, as the two were spotted out and about together recently.
Lindsay is remaining silent when it comes to who she is currently dating. Are the rumors true? Did Lindsay decide to rekindle things with Craig? She claims she is happy with her life at the moment, but it will be interesting to see who is making her happy. It could either be her newfound romance James, whom she met on Winter House, or her longtime friend and former lover Carl, whom she's known for years due to Summer House.
