Die Separatisten errangen trotz leichter Verluste bei der Abstimmung erneut die absolute Mehrheit in der Abgeordneten-Kammer in Barcelona. Damit fügten sie dem spanischen Ministerpräsidenten Mariano Rajoy eine schwere Niederlage zu.

Die mit Spannung erwartete Neuwahl in Katalonien hat keinen Richtungswechsel in der spanischen Krisenregion gebracht: Die drei separatistischen Kräfte konnten am Donnerstag erneut eine absolute Mehrheit im Regionalparlament in Barcelona erringen. Stärkte Einzelkraft wurde jedoch die pro-spanische Bürgerpartei Ciutadans. Die Wahlbeteiligung erreichte einen Rekordwert von fast 82 Prozent.

Bei der Regionalwahl in der spanischen Region Katalonien dürften die Separatisten nach offiziellen Teilergebnissen ihre absolute Mehrheit verteidigt haben. Wie die Regionalregierung am späten Donnerstagabend mitteilte, könnte das Lager der entsprechenden Parteien auf rund 70 der 135 Abgeordneten kommen. Dies ergab sich nach der Auszählung von 52 Prozent der Stimmen.

Bei der Neuwahl in der spanischen Konfliktregion Katalonien haben die Parteien des separatistischen Lagers gemeinsam möglicherweise erneut eine knappe absolute Mehrheit der Sitze im Parlament von Barcelona errungen. Das geht aus einer Prognose der angesehenen Godo-Mediengruppe (La Vanguardia) hervor, die nach Schließung der Wahllokale um 20.00 Uhr veröffentlicht wurde.
