According to TMZ Sports, the four-weight world champion was in South Beach at around 9pm when a driver honked at him for jaywalking in the middle of Collins Avenue.
Eyewitnesses claim that Broner then lost his temper where he smacked the hood of his car before he proceeded to shout at the motorist.
The scene alerted the attention of the police who intervened and warned the American to calm down or else he would be arrested.
But it has been reported that Broner then directed his anger towards the officers, who subsequently put him in handcuffs until he settled down, before releasing the Problem without arresting him.
The incident didn’t have an affect on the Cincinnati native, who was seen dancing at the Exchance Miami nightclub – where he even jumped onstage.
Broner has failed to win in each of his last three bouts – with his last defeat coming against Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao for the WBA regular welterweight title.
Just days after losing against the 40-year-old, a warrant was issued for his arrest after failing to show up for court.
