Today’s free horse racing tips: Wetherby, Taunton and Huntingdon – Steve Mullen’s betting preview for Tuesday, March 19
TAUNTON

BIRDS OF PREY has not done a lot wrong so far and landed his third second in a row at Fontwell last time out. That was an improved effort and he saw out this distance well. It won’t take a lot more to get off the mark.
Flinck caught the eye on debut at Exeter last time. He was a long way back but picked up well in the straight and should improve a fair bit on that. Taaffes Castle is interesting on this UK debut having won in the Irish point-to-point field.

DOLLNAMIX has improved since having a breathing operation with seconds at Taunton on his past two outings. With the Emma Lavelle horses in good nick at the moment she could take another step forward in this open contest.
Annie Bonny had plenty in hand when scoring at Sedgefield last time and has every chance of following up under a penalty. Ted Bach was below par over an inadequate 1m7f at Wincanton last time after earlier winning over this trip. He likes some cut and is capable of bouncing back.
AINTREE BOUND Sam Spinner set for Aintree task after bouncing back to form at Festival

FLIGHT TO MILAN showed promise when third on his chasing debut at Stratford last time out. He wasn’t asked too many questions there and improved as the race went on. He wouldn’t have to take much of a step forward to take this.
Midnight Owle has been second on two of his past three chases including at Huntingdon last time out. He’s creeping up the weights but should be competitive over a suitable trip. Cnoc Sion is down to just 1lb higher than the mark that saw him win at Bangor in October and he’s got plenty of stamina.

POUCOR wasn’t at his best at Ascot last time but had earlier hosed up at Hereford over this trip when a bit of cut in the ground suited well. The assessor hasn’t gone mad ahead of this handicap debut and he gets a handy allowance as a four-year-old too. This is a tight race and Marmont was a solid second at Fontwell last time out.
He was coming back from a break there and could take a step forward for that outing. Oxwich Bay shaped well when fourth at Ludlow when back over hurdles following a chase tumble. The first-time cheekpieces could perk him up.

DANCING SHADOW can be hit and miss but he got his act together when finishing second at Exeter last time out. He ran on well over a similar trip there and will try to make his stamina pay again.
Calin Du Brizais ran no race at Exeter latest but had earlier gone close when second at Plumpton and is only 2lb higher in the weights here. Van Gogh Du Granit has winning form in France and is worth a look on this UK debut for David Pipe.
5.05
LAMH AR LAMH is not the most consistent but she was beaten in a head-bobber at Taunton last time out and takes on very similar opposition here. She sees out this trip well enough give in the ground holds no fears. Gonnabegood can be forgiven one poor effort at Uttoxeter last time given he had two wins and a second coming into that race.
He likes this trip and looks on a workable mark. Mrs Miggins ran her best race for a while when fourth at Plumpton last time and can hit the places again.
