2019: Atiku appoints crisis communication professional, 3 others as specials assistants, give them portfolios

The media adviser to Atiku, Paul Ibe, confirmed this in a statement to newsmen on Sunday, December 2, in Abuja.
While Ahmed Adamu is the special assistant on youth and strategy, Aliyu Bin Abbas will handle youth support groups.

Shuaibu, a crisis communication expert, will oversee public communications while Funmi Lamuye is the special assistant on south west.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Adamu, 33, is an academician, petroleum economist and leadership and development expert, who hails from Katsina state. He is also a pioneer of global president of Commonwealth Youth Council.
He was ranked among the top 100 most influential young Nigerians by Advance Media Africa.
Abbas is 34 and is an indigene of Borno state. He is the director-general of the Atiku Cares Foundation (ACF), which handles humanitarian interventions to vulnerable persons and communities.
“ACF has under the leadership of Abbas, made great impact in bringing succor to the most vulnerable around the country, especially in the Northeast zone,” he said.

Ibe said Shuaibu is 43 years old and hails from Kogi.
Lamuye, a lawyer and philanthropist, is the founder of Prince Alade Lamuye Foundation (PALF), which she uses to impact on the lives of the widows in her state, Osun.
“She was until recently a member of the National Assembly Service Commission,” Ibe said.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Atiku Abubakar denied reports that he had travelled to the United States of America.
Atiku media aide Paul Ibe who spoke to Leadership denied reports he had travelled to the US but added the politician had gone on a private visit to the United Kingdom.
He said Atiku is back and preparing for his campaign which starts on Monday December 3 in Sokoto state.
