The forum is expected to bring together more than 100 project developers, financiers and African government representatives to address how the fintech industry is transforming the financial sector and financing on the African continent.
The Senate president was accompanied by chairman of Senate committee on banking, insurance and other financial institutions, Senator Rafiu Ibrahim, and his counterpart in the committee on judiciary, human rights and legal matters, Senator David Umaru.
Meanwhile, Saraki, has reiterated his support for local government autonomy in the country.
Saraki, according to a statement sent to NAIJ.com by his chief press secretary, Sanni Onogu, in Abuja, stated this during a visit by senior officials of NULGE, led by its national president, Comrade Ibrahim Khalil.
He said that the Senate and the National Assembly appreciates the importance of autonomous governance at the third tier of government and will continue to work towards its realization.
