Stoke midfielder Stephen Ireland has agreed a new deal at the club, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.
Ireland's current short-term deal expires in January and the club have moved to offer him an extension until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old signed the short-term deal in July as he bid to prove his fitness following a lengthy lay-off through injury.
