Bus passengers were heading to holiday party before crash
The private charter bus that overturned on Highway 101 in San Francisco, injuring 30, was carrying employees of a for-profit educational organization and their guests to a holiday party in Palo Alto, company officials confirmed Sunday. The bus passengers worked at Udacity, an online education provider that offers courses in computer science, according to a Udacity spokesperson. “Thankfully everyone involved in the accident is stable, and most have been released from the hospital,” said a Udacity spokesperson. “We want to express our deepest gratitude for the first responders, medical professionals, colleagues, friends and family who have been taking exceptional care of those involved.
