Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda signs new deal despite hitting out at club
Musonda has forced his way into Antonio Conte’s first-team plans at Chelsea this season, making six appearances across all competitions.
The Belgian, who impressed out on loan at Real Betis last season, scored on his full debut as Chelsea beat Nottingham Forest 5-1 in the EFL Cup back in September.
The 21-year-old hit out at the club on Instagram earlier in the season due to not playing enough first-team football, but has now penned a new contact keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2022.
Musonda told the club’s official website: “I am very happy and very proud. I came here very young and am very happy to continue my journey here.
