FBK’s call to impose sanctions against a number of Russians called treason in Russia

Malkevich recalled the OP’s initiative to adopt in Russia an analogue of the American Logan law, the essence of which is that “people who cooperate with foreign states with the aim of causing harm to their country are subject to real criminal prosecution.”

“This is not a law about foreign agents, this is a much darker story. This is what we see now: a citizen of the Russian Federation turns to a foreign state and says: “Let’s do bad things to such and such citizens of the Russian Federation because they do not behave the way we would like,” Malkevich said.

Earlier, FBK asked American leader Joe Biden to take restrictive measures against 35 high-ranking Russians close to President Vladimir Putin: businessman Roman Abramovich, head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko, head of the FSB Alexander Bortnikov, press secretary of President Dmitry Peskov, and others. Some of the list is already under US sanctions, the statement said.
