Teen among 3 wounded in Lawndale shooting
A 16-year-old boy was grazed in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
Three people, including a 16-year-old boy, were shot Wednesday in Lawndale on the West Side.
About 4:50 p.m., the trio was on South St. Louis Avenue when someone opened fire, Chicago police said.
The teen was grazed in the leg, while a 20-year-old man was struck in the ankle, police said. Both were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
A third person was shot in the thigh but refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
Area Four detectives are investigating.
