DETROIT (AP) — A 13-year-old boy has been charged as a juvenile in the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy in the yard of a vacant home on Detroit's east side. Prosecutors say the teenager was charged Wednesday with involuntary manslaughter, careless discharge causing death and using a firearm in commission of a felony in the death of Frederick Austin.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A proposed plea deal was delayed Wednesday for a former suburban Milwaukee police officer charged with ditching the bodies of two women he's accused of killing in suitcases along a rural Wisconsin highway.
