Holding on to your childhood toys could make you seriously rich – just take a look at these rare beanie babies that are going for serious cash online.
And if you decided to keep all your Disney VHS tapes you could be raking it in too, as some are selling on eBay for thousands of pounds.
One set of the classics is worth an eye-watering £13,779 and it’s enough to send you into a frantic loft search to find out which ones you still have hidden away.
The most expensive listing boasts ten of the Disney favourites, including The Fox and The Hound, The Rescuers, Cinderella, Bambi, Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin, Lady and The Tram, 101 Dalmations, The Great Mouse Detective and The Rescuers Down Under.
Other listings include a copy of The Little Mermaid for £8,000 and the 1992 edition of Beauty and The Beast for £3123.08.
Of course, the edition makes a big difference to the price tag. The VHS has to be in mint or very good condition, which means they’ll be in their original cases and the tape won’t have have fuzzy scenes.
They’ll also be part of the rare black diamond collection, which were released by Disney between 1984 and 1993. If any of yours fall into this category they’ll have a black diamond on the spine of the case with the words ‘The Classics’.
Brb, checking the attic ASAP.
